The picture that emerged from my analyses was unequivocal. At the root lie systemic barriers and a leadership model tailored to one specific type of leader: charismatic, strong, authoritarian, and solely focused on results.<\/p>\n
No leader has it easy \u2014 but women face something much greater. They operate in a world that historically was not created with them in mind, and every day they encounter stereotypes.
